You will not experience the best growth and health in a smaller tank with less water changing. Just saying

NO. Bad. Very very VERY not-good. Your water change didn't kill your Arrowana, it was something else. Do you use dechlorinator or Stress Coat? What temperature do you keep and did you refill the tank with? When was your last water change and how much?
Water changes don't kill fish unless you do them wrong. They only make them healthier unless your tank is brand new.

How long has your tank been running??

What are your Ammonia an Nitrate readings??? What number matches the color on the chart for the test?

All very important

hmms. i refill from purely water tap. Then 30% wc every week. I think it is the dechlorinator that become blurry already when i use it.

What dechlorinating stuff do you use? Prime?

Add dechlorinator first then water. Maybe the chlorine killed the arowana

Lets clear some stuff up before we start confusing everyone...

Geraldaw Geraldaw please answer the following questions:

1. How big is the tank? 3' X ? X ?

2. How are you filtering the tank

3. How much water do you normally change, and how many times a week / a month?

4. How many, and what fish are in the tank

5. what are you feeding your fish

6. How long has this tank been setup?

7. What temp do you keep the tank?

8. What are your water parameters (if you know)

^ Geraldaw Geraldaw i think i see your problem...

The tank is really small, and your filtration is most probably in-sufficient, adding to that a lack of water changes and im guessing it maybe due to bad water quality.that killed your aro...

Can i ask how old the Aro was that died, and the size of it?
