dude.... they are illegal to export!!!!! wholesalers mark up humerosa stingrays to be hystrix because they look ... somewhat similar, but get alot bigger... true hystrix you can only get from brazil and since they have a ban on all thier rays...

they are humerosa/retic rays, from colombia, or peru, maybe even guyana, check on top in the stickies for pix before you buy one from him because they arnt going to be true hystrix at that price
For true histrix in the US expect to pay around 500.00 each. Anyone that says they can order them in doesn't know a histrix from a motoro. The only place to get them is from breeders in Europe and hopefully in the US soon.

True there are several breeders in Europe and hopefully Dave has some very soon and the $500 ticket is about right on.. but I dont think you will find a 12" True hystrix for that price..

between 500 and 800 is what i was thinking... figure if you did get one from europe you have import fees shipping etc... all said and done about 500$
