Hello everyone
I have planted one of my aquariums with the umbrella hair grass(it's different from hairgrass ie. It gets taller and has seeds at end of its blades that grow into hairgrass)
It so happned that my aquarium is facing a window from one side and the plants on that side have grown great and I want to propagate them to the back of my tank to achieve a more asthetic look but I can't seem to find a way to propagate them as the U.hairgrass propagates slowly through runners and has a tendency to grow taller instead of spreading like a carpet.

I want the plants on the good side to keep growing after I cut/propagate them.
And the plants are growing veryy slowly through runners(ie. Roots that propagate through the substrate)
So please don't recommen me that??

Thank you in advance☺
