I replaced my Amanos due to how energetic they were. I loved them as a starter shrimp but They get a bit too big for my little 8g, so I decided to go to a smaller size shrimp. I have Cherries, Wild type cherries and Tigers.

Nah no play sand for me.

The pic of the cory was when I first set up the tank. I had 5 of them and a pair of rams but traded them off for Amano shrimp, which in turn I traded those off for my smaller less energetic smaller shrimp species. My tank is 8 gallons.

oh, so an 8 gallon ehh? by tht, u should add some fish tht cannot reach a big size. tiger barbs maybe, or guppies . :) a fancy one would make ure tank look more amazing. :D

^ Honestly, i wouldn't add any fish in there personally since you already have Cherry and Tiger shrimp living there as it is...

Give the shrimp some time to breed, and before you know it, you'll have an 8G full of different size Cherry Reds and possibly tigers running around... but on the other hand, if you add any fish in there, chances are they will pick off a lot of the baby shrimp before they mature...

So really depends on what stock you ultimately want to keep in there long term...

Yeah I am kinda hesitant, even though they are just tetras and would look very pretty, I do have 2 females all berried up.
