^ ultimately, you could wait till you have a strong colony of shrimp, then add a few tetras in for color...

As long as its planted with some basic moss for cover, you may find a few shrimplets will survive...

What are you using for lighting and substrate? Looks like you may have a layer of dirt. Looks great man!

Its a t5ho compact light that came with the tank and there's no dirt, its just ceramic plant substrate I picked up at the store.

Much appreciated. I kinda got an algae bloom goin on atm and I want to pick up a nerite or an otto to take care of it.
