I did not make any deposit.
I asked here before committing wih anything because I didn´t want to make a false move. I´m a strong believer in asking/studying before buying and try to limit "impulse buyings" to the minimum (can´t say zero, but close).
As regards the seller, what I mentioned is that he bought the ray a month ago.
I spoke with him and he is trying to sell it because he wanted an hystrix ("true hystrix") and does not have a big enough tank for the species the importer sent him.
I believe his agreement with the importer was - considering he lives in the South of Portugal and the importer up North - to try to sell the ray to someone that lives near him to avoid having to ship the animal North and - if he is not able to do it within a considered period - the importer will take the ray back and give him an hystrix in the next shipment he receives to correct the initial mistake.
So all is good and everybody is playing nice.
