But all he eats is tilapia. Should i segregate him to try and get him on pellets? What the best way to get them on pellet?
It's really up to u wut to feed. If he's doing well with tilapia then that's fine. I try to pellet trained just because it's free from disease and it's convenient and good for the fish.

I've done this many time and works pretty well. Since he's already off live u can try frozen bloodworms and then crush some pellets and let it soak for a little and then feed the bloodworms and then just pellets. Or try dry krills and then pellets. There will be a point where u have to starve him for him to take pellets. Maybe for a week. If he don't take pellets. Feed him more krills or bloodworms and then repeat till he take pellets. It's gonna take times so be patient. good luck.
