Sooo. I sent my girl to the store to get a battery powered siphon to help clean the sump out and she came back with the fish. Said it looked sad in the same corner as the last time we were there. It spent the entire day in the corner of my tank and about 3 hours after lights out it started moving around and ate some tilapia with my other 2 cats. Today they are all chilling in the abandoned ships in the tank. Its eye seems to have cleared up too. maybe the kids wont mind if I just use our pool for my fish. lol

Eating the first night in a new tank - not too shabby of a start. In fact, it is almost as good a start as anyone would wish for. This means the fish is comfortable (read stress-free) and more or less healthy.

Yeah I didn't expect it to eat since it didn't move for about 8 hours before that. We will see how it goes.
