Indian Almond Leaves in Aquarium

Hi Friends what u all think about adding a Almond leave to the aquarium to control water ph levels and bacteria..May be with a oscar, arowana bettas etc,,,,\I Just tried and the water colour changed brownish,,,,

The brown color is the tannins theyll color it up same as wood

Just as long as the KH and GH are left untouched, you should not encounter issues. These are more appropriate for fish that do prefer soft acidic water. The likes of licorice gouramis and chocolate gouramis tend to require these unfortunately as they are very delicate to water conditions.
