I'm going to have anywhere from 5 to 8 PVC pipes running through my crawlspace for one, possibly two aquariums.
I live in Zone 9,Charleston SC where the lowest temp my crawlspace will see will be MAYBE low 30s at night. The house is a brick ranch, and the crawlspace is not encapsulated.
I obviously want to insulate the pipes, and for most of the run, I should be able to bundle them together instead of insulating them individually. I'm thinking wrapping them together with plastic film followed by something, perhaps duct insulation.
Seems to me that this will assist in preventing heat loss. But will really hamper any potential future repair work.
I'm trying to think in terms of bang-for-the-buck.

Most of the pipes are 3/4" and 1" determined by the tank's bulkhead sizes, although my pump return might be 1-1/4"
