I feel like there has been a big influx of aimara recently that has resulted in a large reduction in the prices. I remember reading that a small one will always cost you $600+ but in the past couple months seems like a number of members have gotten them for sub $300 including myself.

That's a likely reason. I think the demand has slowed and now trying to move stock as well.

You guys are making me jealous.

Are they from LFS or other hobbyists? Sometimes fishes like these will be difficult to sell when potential owners knew that it requires a solo tank most of the time.

You guys wouldn't believed how much I got my Brasiliensis dorado for. :D
