Nearly all aros are bred in ponds in Asia so you may as well say they are in the wild as many of them ponds are connected to the main water way/stream so most breeder aros are as good as wild sizeI should think this is real. In the wild these fish tend to grow quite large. I would love to be able to own one this large that's for sure
