From the picture no it's not a real estimate of size

It looks like it's a gold aro xback or red tail gold a normal size for the is 24" but 28-30" max

Reds only get to 36" tops so I will say no it's not real

I should think this is real. In the wild these fish tend to grow quite large. I would love to be able to own one this large that's for sure

Nearly all aros are bred in ponds in Asia so you may as well say they are in the wild as many of them ponds are connected to the main water way/stream so most breeder aros are as good as wild size

It's big yes but not as big as the picture wants you to think it is

If it is real then I think a lot of Asian aro keepers need to reassess the tank needs
