i put in some 2.5-3 inch giant danios soon to be move because they are not needed!
keep the giant danios. your better off keeping them in there incase your oscar or JD decides its having a bad day. chances are they wont be able to catch a giant danio, plus the danios dont eat very much

danios add a nice contrast to slow moving, lazy fish like oscars. most lazy oscars will learn to just ignore the danios swimming around, so should your JD usually.

Was I the only one to notice that the JD and Oscar are living in a 55 gallon tank? If so, that tank is two small for the two of them. A single male JD will share a 55 gallon with pretty much a female, but an Oscar will most likely outgrow the 55 gallon.. I would say a 75 would be so much better as it's wider, but that's just my .02
