Finally got time to start a thread dedicated to our two Jau catfish.
ZZ, supposedly female, is 9 years old and is the boss of the 4500 gal. Zazula, supposed male, is 6 years old and the second in command. Both have reached 33" half a year ago. Zazula is a bit more slender and in the video is most usually on the left. His home is the left front corner. ZZ's is right front corner, more lucrative as it is in the flow of the incoming water.
Zazula would challenge ZZ every now and then but always loses the stand-off or a short scufle and bite exchange. He then walks off his anger swiming around the tank a few laps and everyone scatters out of the way as he bites everybody when angry.
The video features some pellet feeding.
