Anyway, it's not a problem as long the eggs got fertilized. My discus always lay eggs on the glass even I gave them a smooth good looking rock :p it's all depend on the fish hehehe

The only problem, is if they are in a community tank, and you want to save some of the fry.
I like to siphon them out into a small tank or in a breeder box, either as wrigglers, or just after they become free swimming.
Below are a bunch in a breeder box where they stayed for a few weeks, then were moved to a 20 gal. Probably ended up saving almost 40 or 50.

the gjd and jd are in a 240 ltr alone with just bn plec
their last lot didn't survive
we feel we'd have to take the parents out to help the fry
my jd carries the blue gene so really want their fry to survive
