RIP to my Pictus Catfish.
I netted him earlier because I had to move some fish around (long story) but I don't usually net him I scare him into a container but he made a dart for the net and got tangled up. So I cut him free from the net and he seemed fine before I went to work but got home and he was belly up at the bottom of the tank.
He was one of the first fish I bought when I got back into the hobby about 5 years ago and a good size for a Pictus Cat, loads of character, always swimming and made a load buzzing noise if other fish had a go at him or one was in the way. I also didn't realise how predatory they were until I added 12 Neons and they were gone in one weekend and he looked fit to burst!
Took me 4 flushes and some persuading with the loo brush to get him to go down the pan, not how I wanted to say goodbye.
