At eight inches my Trombeta was already developing the black patterns along side and back. I believe what lulu has is Tapajos not Trombeta. I should still have my Juvenile pics somewhere. Will dig them and post them later when I have time.
Definitely female though!

Haha yep definetly female tho! Could be a tapajos from what you're saying although Lulus measurement was a estimate and John says his are still 5-6 inches from the same batch. But idk you could be right either way tapajos or trombetas it's a very nice fish

Well ordered 3 marms from the same supplier as john. Supplier claims they are trombetas as well... May or may not be but for the price i got them at in not really complaining lulus marm looks fantastic already I honestly wouldn't mind a few of those cruising around my 300

I got an email from John two days ago. He claims he doesnt know the collection point on these Marms. I inquired about them on the 9th. So I will stay with Rio Tapajos.

Gorgeous breeding colors on those Marms Norcalicichlids!

Ok then they're probably tapajos... Interesting though he told me they were trombetas in January... But nice fish nonetheless
