So I'm setting up a new plywood pond in my garage I'm going to insulate it with a 2x4 brace. And then I'm going to plywood over that and probably put another thin sheet of insulation. Then the walls as well, I'm going to have so much scrap plywood by the dimensions of my pond I'm just going to Frankenstein the outside of it with more plywood.
(over the summer I was going to make a good cover for the winter)

My garage isn't insulated so temperature does get pretty cold what are you guys do during the winter to keep it at least 35+ degrees?

Koi can actually hibernate in cold environments as long as there's water. They should do fine just dont feed them because they will be inactive and if it freezes over clear the top ice sheet (fill similar temp water) and keep it oxygenated.
