My friend said your not aloud tobecause there game fish but on my last thread people said they ate them so im assuming they take them after catching them. I was jw if it was legal? do they have to be a certain size? someone mentioned take only 1-2 lbers as they arent breedable yet.

Laws vary by state but Im sure its legal to take them within a certain size, even in Nazi Germ... I mean California. Google Cali fishing regulations and you should find size restrictions.

Around 14"-16" depending on girth. Check the regs for each place you plan on fishing, as rules can change from lake to lake as much as they change from state to state.

I know a couple of people here in RI that have some bass and bluegill in there tanks. idk if its legal or not but check before you take them home.

Just because you never got in trouble doesn't mean it is right to do it. The students that I teach try to use this excuse all the time.

true, and plus at the lake i'm fishing ar it is guaranteed that they wont check out coolers/buckets but im not sure if i will haha because i dont really have a tank for it now
