I had my bonsai flowerhorn same exact size as yours in my 200 gallon. I could barely see the thing lol but I put it in my 10 gallon and beefing him up right now. They grow so slowly just like parrots so when he doubles his size hell go into the 200 gallon community tank again.

The reason why I said that is because at that size the female will lay eggs. So you can breed these guys.

An arowana gets 3 feet or more so it will outgrow it quick. Your 125 dimensions is not ideal for an arowana if the tank was a 125 long that would be a different story.

You could go with some predatory haps buccochromis or tyranochromis comes to mind.

120, 125 long, either way - both are far too small to house an aro long term.
