I bought a little 4.5" belly crawler yesterday. Thought he would be a cool little addition to the tank. Ah nope! I don't think he was in the water 2 whole seconds until the vinniy sucked him down. That was a pricey feeder.

Yeah. Pikes are predators... They're Not like most cichlids They'll actually Choke things down if they can manage it lol

Ya I noticed that while feeding my lent. 4 feeders in the mouth and last one was quarter out of the mouth. Greedy fish I must say

Yikes, sorry to hear. The most crazy pred's I've had so far have been Pikes, Scherzeri Perch and Gulper Cat. So I know far to well about expensive feeders, that's a Lei Arowana in my gulpers gut in the pic below.
