I have had these for about a year. Got them at two inches, they are now five to six inches.
They are a bit like Modesta, but more slender, not as powerful. I cannot keep them in the same tank as Modesta as they would be excluded. I have tried this before.
I should have ten of them. They have been in the small loach partition, but are now the largest thing in there.
They have a slightly lilac hue, understated compared to some other loaches, but still I like them a lot.
I managed to get five out. They will go in the horseface loach tank, where I have an outbreak of MTS. There have always been MTS in the sand in the horseface tank, but generally I have only seen the occasional one. But in the last month, maybe because of the change in temperature, I now have hundreds, possibly thousands.
