They are starting to grow out nothing serious yet though.does it have any barbels? very hard to tell from the pics.
Mine has been eating both blood worms and Pellets as a staple . I will do occasional Hikari canisticks that I break in thirds...he'll eat but seems to spit some out. Either the food is too big or he's still getting use to it. If you haven't already tried, get some frozen Krill - that's the other food that I will give as a treat and it's cool to see how they "attack" that. It's been a month I may post some pictures (in a separate thread don't want to high jack yours )Mine had slow grow for the first month or two, he is just starting to take off at about 1" per month. Mine stuffs himself with carnisticks every morning.
Are the barbels on the Leichardti typically smaller than the Jardinis? They are starting to grow out nothing serious yet though.
I would say yes, leichardti don't have full barbels until older as jardinis as a baby already come with them. Are the barbels on the Leichardti typically smaller than the Jardinis?
Lei have pink/red spots. They look different just compare my photo with a baby jardini. Also i believe jardini is more aggressive. How do you tell a Jardini from a Leich? How does their aggression compare?
