IF I remember correctly I lost almost half the TDS just aerating the water for 24 hours......
Alex, my Marbles that darkend came from softer water (pure RO and very soft tap).
I'd be very weary of running pure ro..... Once you get under 100 microsiemmens I'd think the PH would crash if the ray sharted. lol Although I'm sure the fewer rays you have the better luck you'd have getting it to work.
I still think "ideal" ends up being ro cut with aged tap, but in order to be sure it stays the same it would have to be mixed and used regularly. Like premixed in tubs or something. I was shooting for 6.0-6.5 ph 150-200 microsiemmens, but proved too tricky to try to balance on the fly with tap water that came out around 700 ms. PH bounced all over. But if you plan on room for mixing vats I'm sure you could have great results. I resulted in being out of room.... lol
