Hey y'all! This thread is for anyone who wants to post pictures of their pet birds. It can be of any kind; loud, quiet, beautiful, food (kidding), large and small.

I'll go first: I have two Diamond Doves named Smoky and Coco (Smoky is light gray, larger-bodied, and has a white belly, while Coco is mostly brown with a gray head and smaller body). They have eggs right now (so somebody is obviously female), but we don't know if they are both female or one is an infertile/old male. Are there any dove experts in the house that can help clarify?

I've always wanted a budgie but my mom won't let me have one (even though we have an extra cage for it *sigh*).

My guy Phoenix, sadly it came down to keeping him and being homeless, or keeping my apartment...

One day I went to the local bird only pet store. They had around 25 different baby birds. Many different types, Conures, Parakeets, etc. Phoenix was the only one to climb out to me ,and he did three days in a row, so he claimed me as his human.


He finally came home at 17weeks of age. From that point on we were inseparable.

Not pets, but yesterday we had parakeet on ice in the park.
Sorry, for the bad quality but I couldn't get closer without scaring them.

Although I've kept birds in the past, Java Temple birds, others, I no longer keep them as pets, probably because where I live they spend a lot of time in my yard.
