The fry are extremly small,smaller than any cichlid fry i have ever breed also smaller than the other gobys i have breed. The young must have microscopic live food to survive. My male stops eating and will spend weeks fanning and protecting eggs that dont even hatch. He will really beat up on the female after she lays eggs and will not accept her again until she is ready to lay again. The male is almost always very thin and in bad shape after spawning and the female is really beat up. It has been about a year and a half to two years since i last breed this pair.
