The normal color form of this zebra has a light blue body with bright orange dorsal fin and tail. Females are more brownish. Males will defend their territory firece and bold. He will be more aggressive toward other greshakei males than towards other species, but other species won't try to take his females.

I thought the females were a little pinkish, while the males color really pops. I have 4 of them two adults and two juvies. One is definitely a male and the other I have no idea. I never saw it hold eggs in its mouth or laying them.
