Yea Im just going to give it a shot and call it a day. Also thanks kyle_91 ! I learned very quickly that crazy busy tanks are alot harder to care for. So I finally just went with one small peice of wood and soem plants rooted on it. Done. Simple and nice.

I have flat black tubeing to blend into the back, I picked it up at petsmart. They also carry suction cups that are to hold it ! SO your air line is waving all over the place ! Can stay trucked in the corners/bottom/ top well and out of sight. Cost like 2 bucks.

Nice. I used the elastic method too. Found it was crap. I now use super glue.

If you have sufficient light, you might want to consider some floating plants...duckweed is okay but they are small and can be messy. In my planted I have Asian water moss, Salvinia cucullata. They are very easy to care for as long as you have sufficient light. and floating plants give potential jumpers a little more security; and fish who dig won't both it.

Floaters are also good because they are not limited by the co2 levels in the water, which means they are alot better at getting rid of nitrates than underwater plants, Amazon frogbit and Salvinia natans are also good options.
