Monsterfish stocking!

So currently have a 8x3x3. I was thinking going stingrays but kinda Opt out of that and was thinking of this lmk if things would work:

1 18" black arowana (maybe)
1 18" shortnose gar
2 16" spotted gars
1 10" RTGG
1 rtc
1 tsn
1 6" flowerhorn
2 oscars
4 xingu

Personally I think the RTC shouldn't be in that mix. RTCs easily get 4 foot +. I think the others should be fine, I'll let actual monster fish keepers comment on the validity of that.

The red tail would eventually go in our pond. I finally got this tank since I never had an actually grow out tank. So putting small things in our pond was like rolling the dice lol but I wouldn't keep him in 400 for life. Just enough to hold his own with the big boys lol

Ah I see, then he would be perfectly fine as a growout.

No RTC, no FH , probably 1 Oscar and maybe 1 or two PBass- not 4

If I took out the cats and I did this:
2 Xingu
1 oscar
1 RTGG
1 back aro
1 gar
2 mini marble rays

I'm running a 135 gallon sump on this tank also

Will depend on the personality of the RTGG.
If it’s cool you will be fine, if not it may see the tank as it’s own and chase everything else none stop.
A better choice may be an albino GG which seem to be more chilled although get to 24”.

Yeah im not trying too have it cause utter chaos. I'll look into the Albino GG ,I knew a few places that have some. Worst case I'll take it completely off the list then and maybe add another oscar or gar

That’s what I would do, as far as rays I know next to nothing about them so I can’t really say, but from the little I do know I think that’s a better list

No problem,If you’re in the states try exotic fish shop or Jonah’s, or even predatory fins or Lonestar
