every1 says oscars and i halfway agree because my jumps for food and is sorta like a scaly puppy, but my clown knife fish lets me pet him. I kinda feel split between two species.
It's all about conditions and i think alot has to do with size. From my experience NTT are the worst for hiding at a young age but everything grows friendly once there comfortable! Just offer the best enviroment possible
I have had one ST for 12 years and two ATs for several years each. The AT's were active and friendly. But the ST definitely had more going on upstairs. It seemed smarter and very owner responsive. It kind of seemed to seize things up and was aware of all things going on outside the tank.
