Always enjoy your pictures, amazing how small that red point female is! Did her mate run off?

Nice looking pair! I'm a huge Cryptohero fan.

I was checking on my pond today and netted my C. mynerae pair. I could not help myself, I had to bring them in. Amazing what being outdoors does for color. Also had a lot of fry, but could not tell what they are yet (Nothing that will cross is in the pond). I think they were A. mutlispinosus and C. mynerae.

Took a few clearer, yet similar pics today, some of the above pics will disappear.

I agree about the colors after being outside, whenever I bring in fish from a summer in the pond its night and day, compared to those that stay inside.

Because the parent Red Points are in a tank with 5 or 6 other Red Points, figured to be safe, the fry should be removed. So before the fry started to wander, I pulled the tube and poured it into a breeder box in another uninhabited tank already set up.
