Great pics gar. That's a cool looking tank. That rock pile in the centre is sweet!
thanks james... glad u like it... i had the vals in another tanks so got few of them here and got that star bamboo grass in cant wait for them to start filling like a carpet... i saw ur thread you have sand in there with the plants?! i was under the impression that plants dont do very well with sand.....:irked:.... any advice :) i have some amazon swords which i would like to go in there and planning on getting some anubias as well....

Sand is excellent for plants. They like really fine substrates. There just isn't any nutrients in sand, so you have to either dose or use root tabs, or both.
cool will check on the root tab thingy... i am new to planted tanks.... had a tank before this but got infested with snail... so took them apart... so first thing tmrw im hitting the lfs... thanks james

Glad i am not the only one seeing things lol... :D i realized it after i put it in there that driftwood looks like an ancient wood carving sort...
