That is a fantastic looking set up I love it and the stock, not kept bushfish for about 20 years but I remember them being a cool tank

What else will you stock in it? Butterflyfish would be nice

I‘m Not really planning to stock it with any more fish.
Maybe i add a pair Endlis in the future but only when the Dels and the bushfish have grown bigger.

In the Last weeks i realised the bushfish are a bit *****y among themselves.

I dont know to be honest but i think they would have a hard time getting enough food against the polys and the bushfish.

I have the chance of getting 2 Polypterus polli which are about the same size with 8“ as my Dels.
Could there be any problems in this combination?
The Pollis are wild caught and lived one year at the First owner (he said he has checked them on Parasites).
Is it a good idea because i have no quarantine tank so i would just put them together.

PS: I also could get a Moke from the same tank but im not sure if the Moke can compete against the Dels since they are described very shy.

Dels are compatible with all other species.
They do not harm any Polypterids.
