My eel isn't eating

If it's small you can keep it FW for a bit, but not long term. I can't believe noone has asked, but what did it eat when you bought it??? If it isn't eating the same food that it was before then that means something is wrong with his condition even if it's just stress.

It sounds like it will not help this situation much but to get my snow flake, salt water, eel to eat other than live food I had to target feed it. I used a clear piece of rigid air line with a notch cut in the end. Put the food on the end then wiggle it in front of the eel while moving it away. They will generally strike it and take the food.

I'm also kind of worried because he still isn't eating, but he swims across the front of the tank like all day even when the lights are on so😁😁 plus he has a lot of hiding spots, a cave, driftwood, rock tower thing, tunnels hollow rocks. Idk what I should do!
