That was just test fill, no salt or anything. Still working on the sump. I am picking up a 5 stage ro/di set up this friday. Along with sand,rock, a used protein skimmer, and new lighting. Should have everything I need (for the most part lol) on friday.
Oh, ok. Sounds good. I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.

Alright so I held of on plumbing the tank because Im switching some pieces of the drain from rigid to flex. Picked up a protein skimmer made by the same local company who made this tank. Its a Top Fathom 200A that Im going to use untill my fish grow out some or I come across another good deal on one. I added two 40 lb bags of caribsea oolite live sand and one 30lb bag of carib sea argamax sugar size. Also added a few pieces of my live rock to help start the cycle process. Since the tank isnt plumbed yet Im running a powerhead and submersible pump inside the tank for now. Also picked up 120 lbs of salt. Passed on the ro/di unit I was looking at used cause the guy told me it makes 90 gallons of waste water per 1 gallon collected. Well thats just scary inefficient, looking into another but for now Im using the same old well water Ive been using on my 90.
Also had a dull moment at the glass shop and had him cut all my baffles 12"s high=/. Waiting til monday to have 3.5 to 4 " cut off them so I have more room in shut off situation. My skimmer does not require a specific height just need to cover the pump that feeds it. My first compartment will be full of Live Rock/chaeto, second for my skimmer, then a bubble trap before the bulkhead fitting where my external reeflo will send it back.
Any suggestions on changes or comments to my current plan are more then welcome.
