Look at the top right hand corner of the screen, you'll see the "Settings" button. Go into there. Any subscribed threads (threads you've participated in) will have shortcuts there for you to click on. If you haven't set up your subscriptions yet, go into the Settings link and look at the options on the left hand side. About half way down you'll see "General Settings". Go into that page. Once you're there, about halfway down you'll see a drop-down menu that lets you select how you wish to receive your notifications, I like to use "through control panel only".
