So i bought a new flowerhorn, the one on the left, built them a divider but ever since i put it in they wont move from that spot is there something wrong with my flowerhorns ? If they do move they stay at the bottom. Been 24 hours since i've put them together.

PH is at 7.2, Nh3 and NH4 is almost 0
Filter on both sides and both sides have a heater set to the same temperature. 28 degrees celsius 15136018843562072441970.jpgIMAG0489.jpg

Have you tried not using the divider? Maybe they simple want to hangout but can't. Not all cichlids need to be divided. Just have one on standby if things get rough.

Hard to tell by the photo, but it looks like a Mexican standoff between 2 males. If that's the case, the last thing you want to do is pull the divider.

Damn.. You guys need me here!

Anyways. They bothneed more water surface flow. And more media in your filter/in a bigger filter. Clear divider is not good for long term. One will stress by the other and get hex(it is not the case yet here but it's in line waiting).

Have fun fixing that and enjoy!
