Nice!! Eye candy.

In due time, hopefully. Can snap a few but black liner dimly lit pond is not lighting-friendly. Hopefully, they will move in into their 4500 gal in a few months (http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=33968). I will again try to combine all three there.
You can see mine three Leiarius pictus (plus two Leiarius marmoratus, so 5 Leiarius in total) in these videos (Tank 1, six videos): http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/f...and-Rescue-Naples-FL-two-4500-gal-13-x13-x4-5

They are available only during short period of time, in summer, and at larger sizes, usually at least 8"-10". I bought mine from Snookn21, Ft. Myers, FL http://www.freshwatertropicalfishonline.com/ . Highly recommend.

Where did you guys buy your Leiarius pictus cats? They are sweet, and I'm trying to find one myself!

I live in Germany and I asked the local petstore guy to help me find a catfish that would not grow to stupid big and would do well with other fish.

So I just got lucky :)

Super Dave, Your fish looks great could you give some info on what you feed the L Pictus and how often as well as the water parameters you keep him in such as hardness pH nitrate levels. Also frequency and amount of water changes you do? Thanks

Hi thanks, I feed a combination of shrimps without shell stuffed with carnivore pellets and standard frozen fish from the pet store to include some sinking pleco chips. Its been a trial and error really and I just keep moving forward with the types of food that I have success with.

I use EasyLife to treat my water and with that I do 40% water changes every 6 weeks.

Also I have my little JBL easy test strips and everything stays in the correct parameters, PH is around 6.4.

I target feed the L Pictus every 2 to 3 days, the cichlids I feed almost daily here is a pic below of the types of food I feed besides the shimps and frozen fish.
