Beautiful fish! I enjoy the regular updates. To me, a monster fish keeper not only keeps awesome fish, but keeps them well, keep them for a long time, keeps them for life. You are modeling that and I salute you

13 years now. Still going good. I hear him breathing a couple times a day. Sounds like a Tuba. Apparently it gets louder and deeper the larger they get. Looking forward to that progressing….

My oldest fish is a Synodontis angelica (spot) right at 25 years old.

oh wow that is an achievment. I last had an Angelicus about 25 or so years ago. Does it lose some of the contrast between black and white at that age ?

Yes, the black isn’t as black as it used to be.

Rescued 3 common pleco’s and they like the tast of Genius. I had to move them to my other tank.
it’s been two weeks since this happened. Genius is fully recovered.
