I almost got rid of these....GLAD I DIDN'T The female has actually spawned in a tank full of Thorichthys helleri... I wonder if anyone's fertilized the eggs??

Very aggressive.... the female is chasing everything in the tank bigger or smaller... The male is sharing with a larger female Festae and is holding his own and bullying smaller Jags and chasing them around.

I'm going to be putting the male and female together later this week.

Istlantum are very aggressive, I love my big boy though. But has never allowed anything in his tank and never will.

In regards to the bloat questions, I have always been under the impression that Istlantum are very hardy and mine was no different. He has always been a good eater and grew fast.
Enjoy them,they are great.

Finally introduced the male to the female and almost immediately they've hit it off.. displaying and head shacking.
