Update. Been feeding salad shrimp with Arowana Vitamin (liquid) Still has yet to go on a killing spree, but nips at the clown loaches every so often. About 9" long now in my 180g...

Yah, its been very hot here in Washington this year, water temp at a constant 80f, warmer on some days....he is always hungry.
