My smallmouth bass has this weird pink/red spot at the base of his pectoral fin and I'm not sure why

My ph is also low he's aggressive and eating fine but he does get nipped at by my largemouth because he is a bit smaller and he breathes a little faster than the other fish but I'm just asking to get some expert opinions because for all I know it could be a life threatening disease or just a injury from being nipped at and none of the other fish in the tank are having any issues

What is the tank size? What are the dimensions of the tank? How often do you do water changes? Is the tank cycled for you to have ammonia? A good estimate for what you want your water parameters to be is 0 ammonia and nitrites and 10-20 ppm of nitrate

I agree with Americancichlidsaredabest Americancichlidsaredabest and F FJB . You may have to isolate the smaller bass possibility it may get badly harmed
by larger one.
Also your aquarium may not be fully cycled because Nitrate is 0ppm.
Shake those test bottles for Nitrate well.
