Could be the swollen pics after reconstruction surgery on his lip by a very good plastic surgeon.

I think the damage looks about right, your lip would swell up like that from the crushed blood vessels. I have a snapper about that size and from what I've seen of her bite it wouldn't actually remove a chunk of lip. When they stuck the Snapper on Steve O's butt on Wild Boys it didn't take out a chunk, just gave him a nice bruise.

On that note: I have been bit by this guy. Got a tattoo to remind to never become complacent with an animal again after it healed up. Doctors did a good job and the scar is barely noticeable now.
