New Acrylic Tank Ex-Saltwater help

Hey, I bought a used tank which was used as a saltwater tank, problem is it has coralline algae and i tried to remove as much as possible using hot water and vinegar. I would say most of it came out. And the remaining bits doesn't bother me because much of it as at the bottom where sand would be covering it. Now my question is can I leave as it iss or do I need to take more out. I will be stocking the tank with CA cichlids. thanks
