Honestly I don't know, most ive seen out at the same time is 11. Most times I only see about 6-8 of them at once.Nice! So do still have thirteen?

Be careful LOL , not my first rodeo. I almost always raise these fish in groups of 10-20 fish. I want the big, outgoing monster that will eat anything including its own kind. Not the small shy fish that barely grows and hides all the time. These fish are very complex you can have 4 fish from the same batch that are very different in color size and temperament . This is a fish that can grow to 3 feet but 2 feet is more common for a large one while you will have males and females that max out at one foot. So as long as the 2 buy guys keep up what they are doing im fine the can eat all the others.He might snack on the others be careful, he's going to be a beast
