Quite a lot of antiquities seen in museums are privately owned and loaned out to museums by their benefactors. I have 2 huge ammonites (one is over 6 ft across) on loan to a California museum.I am curious how you would acquire such an old book?
I feel as if it should be found in a museum but I suppose there is a lot of old artifacts in private hands.
