So today I got my 2 Juvi PBBs.
They are both at around 4-5" in length, and eating pellets.

I have put them in a 35gallon growout I have running as they are too small to be put in with the others (The ornate will just try to eat them) and they were a little more expensive than most of my Polys so I want them alive LOL.

So any PBB keepers her could tell me the growth rate of these guys?
I hope they aren't as slow growing as my Laps have been!
I don't really want to introduce them till they are at least 25-30cm.

Never own a small PBB but as for the color being dull it's because it's on top of a white substrates. Try placing over red, tan or brown or any darker substrates and it will color up in just a few days.

Yeah, my main poly tank has red crushed garnet stone, this is a growout.
I might just take the gravel out and leave it bare till they grow.
