It's not a species if it can't inbreed successfully. Nonetheless, I don't think that could be done.
Incorrect. Dromedary and bactrian camels can reproduce. Lions and tigers can, comically, do the same. Donkeys and zebras can as well. The point is that the standard is it makes a VIABLE offspring. An offspring that can itself reproduce. So interspecies or intergeneric whatever. The point is that it makes an offspring that isn't sterile as ****.
note that those species with, shall we say, more flexible genomes....can do some crazy stuff.
