Is aquaponic the same as hydroponic ?? If so, why would you be growing them outside ?? With my past experience with hydroponics it was always indoors.

No. Hydroponics uses synthetic chemicals in a fluid base to hyper saturate the roots. Hydroponics incorporates aquatic life byproduct to fertilize the plants generally creating faster and better growth.

Really? Wouldn't expect that from you. I saw one the other night, just stopped and watched it walk by and thought nothing of it
