Oscar eggs! Help

White eggs mean that they're unfertilized, males are supposed to externally fertilize the eggs after they are released by the female.
Are you sure the eggs are actually being blown off the slate and not being eaten by the fish?

Thanks! I don't know what the problem seems to be. Before only about half of the eggs would turn white, and the other half would hatch. But now I guess he's just doing a horrible job and not fertilizing ANY of the eggs?
Yes, I'm 100% sure the fish are not eating the eggs.

Are the eggs always white? Or do they turn white after being brown first? It is possible they are fertilized but then get fungus which turns them white.
Maybe putting some sand or gravel on the slate before they breed might help, the thinking is that they will have to clean the gravel or sand off and in the process may clean the slate better to provide better sticking?

No, lol, I've gotten fry from them before, they're male and female
